SpeedRun keeps your health and fitness data on your device and in Apple Health. We operate no servers for the app, there are no accounts, and the app sends nothing anywhere. We never receive your health data at all - not in an anonymised form, not in aggregate, not ever. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
The controller of your personal data is IGORI s. r. o., with registered seat at Lermontovova 911/3, 811 05 Bratislava - Staré Mesto, Slovakia, IČO 53 804 643, DIČ 2121500623, IČ DPH SK2121500623, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III District Court, Section Sro, Insert No. 153013/B. For any privacy matter, contact us at yo@igori.games.
When you record a run, SpeedRun saves it as a genuine Apple Health workout so it looks and counts exactly like a run from Apple's own Workout app. With your permission it writes:
SpeedRun reads back everything listed in section 3, so it can show your history, records, and trends. With your permission it also reads the following, which it never writes:
Every one of these is optional. You choose exactly what to allow when Apple's Health permission sheet appears, you can change your mind at any time in the Health app under Sharing, and SpeedRun works without any single one of them - the features that depend on a category you decline simply do not appear.
SpeedRun uses your device's GPS only while a workout is running, to measure your speed, distance, and your best 100, 200, and 400 m times. Location is used in the background during an active workout so that measurement continues with your wrist down or the screen off. It stops when the workout ends. The barometer is read to measure the elevation you gain. Neither is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than measuring the run in front of you, and neither leaves your device.
Your runs live in Apple Health and in the app's own on-device cache. Both are stored on your device and are covered by your device's encryption and, if you use it, your iCloud backup, under your Apple Account and Apple's terms. Because we never receive this data, we cannot retain, disclose, or delete it for you. You remain in control: delete an individual run inside SpeedRun or in the Health app, and revoke any permission at any time in Health under Sharing. Deleting the app removes SpeedRun's own on-device cache and settings; the workouts it saved to Apple Health stay there, under your control in the Health app, until you delete them there.
Health data is a special category of personal data under GDPR Article 9. SpeedRun processes it on your device only, on the basis of the explicit consent you give through Apple's Health permission sheet (Art. 9(2)(a)), for the sole purpose of measuring and showing you your own training. Because the data never reaches us, IGORI s. r. o. carries out no processing of your health data on its own systems. If you email us, we process the contact details and message you choose to send, in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b)).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it. SpeedRun embeds no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting service. No health data is transferred outside the European Economic Area by us, because none of it is transferred anywhere at all. Health data is never used for marketing, never disclosed to advertisers or data brokers, and never used to build a profile of you.
SpeedRun is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. As the app collects nothing, no data about a child of any age reaches us.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. For data held on your own device, you can exercise these directly through the app, the Health app, and your device settings. For anything else, write to yo@igori.games. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
