When reporting a problem, it helps a lot if you tell us your watch model, your watchOS and iOS versions, and what you were doing when it happened.
The app is not detecting my sprints. Auto sprints is off by default: tap SPRINT to start a rep and the watch counts you down 3-2-1. Switch Auto sprints on in Settings if you want the watch to start them itself - it compares your speed against your own jogging pace, so give it a genuine easy warm-up first, and lower the threshold above the switch if it still misses you.
My speed or distance looks wrong. GPS needs a clear view of the sky and takes a short while to settle. Start your run outdoors, wait for the watch to acquire a fix before your first sprint, and avoid starting under dense tree cover or between tall buildings.
My run did not appear on my iPhone. Runs travel through Apple Health. Make sure both devices have granted SpeedRun the Health permissions, keep the watch and phone within range for a moment after you finish, and open the iPhone app to let it read the new workout.
Why does it ask for my sleep and wrist temperature? Only to judge how recovered you are. After a short or broken night the app suggests an easy jog instead of a hard sprint session. Both are optional: decline them and everything else still works. What they are used for is set out in the privacy policy.
Can I use it without an Apple Watch? No. The measurement happens on the watch, so an Apple Watch is required. The iPhone app shows your history, records, and trends.
Does SpeedRun need an account or an internet connection? Neither. There is no sign-up, and the app works fully offline.
SpeedRun keeps your data on your device and in Apple Health. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. Read the full SpeedRun privacy policy.
